- Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST)
DEST provides national leadership and works in collaboration with the States and Territories, industry, other agencies and the community in support of the Government’s objectives. They develop and implement policies to ensure the continuing relevance of education, science and training to contemporary needs and the growing requirement for lifelong learning.
- Training Accreditation Council (TAC)
TAC is Western Australia's State Registering/Course Accrediting Body and is responsible for quality assurance and recognition of vocational education and training services in Western Australia. Registered Training Organisations in WA must be registered with TAC.
- National Training Information Service (NTIS)
NTIS has been developed by federal and state governments to provide access to current and emerging training market information and products in vocational education and training. It lists all VET accredited courses, competency standards, training packages and training providers.

- Australian Apprenticeships
Australian Apprenticeships is an Australian Government incentive that combines training and employment that leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
- Adult Literacy National Project (LLN)
The Adult Literacy National Project funds a diverse range of projects from service provision to research and resource development. The beneficiaries of these projects include individuals in the community and adult literacy practitioners. The projects enhance adult literacy on a national level.
- Industry Skills Councils
Industry Skills Councils provide accurate industry intelligence to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector about current and future skill needs and training requirements, and continuous improvement of quality nationally recognised training products and services, including Training Packages.
