TR7 Pty Ltd’s Standards Business Sponsorship agreement with the government allows us to sponsor overseas skilled people to work for companies in Australia. As a Company Sponsor we are approved to sponsor workers on the Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Subclass 457 Visa.
The 'Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Subclass 457 Visa' is for employers who want to employ overseas workers to fill nominated skilled positions in Australia. The visa allows us to employ overseas workers for a period of between three (3) months and four (4) years.
Our overseas sponsored employees can:
- Work in Australia for a period of between three (3) months and four (4) years
- Bring any eligible secondary applicants with them to Australia – secondary applicants can work and study
- After entering Australia, have no limit on the number of times they travel in and out of Australia
Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS) allows employers to sponsor a specified number of temporary business entrants within a two year period. Employers must demonstrate to the department that they can satisfy the sponsorship criteria, including their ability to comply with sponsorship undertakings, in relation to the approved number of sponsored employees.
A Standard Business Sponsorship is valid for either 2 years or until the approved number of positions is filled, whichever happens earlier.
The applicant for business sponsorship (TR7 Pty Ltd) must agree to meet certain sponsorship undertakings in relation to overseas employees.
The department must be satisfied that the business is able to meet these sponsorship undertakings in relation to all those it has sponsored, including any secondary applicants.
