We are currently seeking an Estimator for a company that is locally owned and ran. They supply equipment solutions for the energy, mining, construction, infrastructure and off-shore oil and gas sectors stretching through the Pilbara to the Asian region.
The primary focus of this role is to assist with tendering so previous experience in this area is required.
You will ideally have scaffolding supervisory skills coupled with on the job construction experience.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years scaffolding management experience
- 3+years relevant estimating experience (preferably in construction)
- Commercial experience would be advantageous
- Advanced Scaffolding ticket
- Good communication skills
- Fairly advanced Computer skills
Role:
- Manual design and costing of scaffold requirements for commercial, residential and industrial applications.
- Preparation of tender documents for sub-contractors.
- Preparation of quotes and tenders to clients.
- Quantifying of orders and coordination of subcontractors on live projects.
- Supervision of Quality Assurance procedures and training.
The role is Perth based (Monday to Friday 8-4:30pm) with site visits required to gain scope of works.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience plus computer and mobile phone.

· Prepare and supervise preparation of end of well reports for in-house and government entities

REQUIREMENTS
· 7+ years experience required, with at least 5 years as operator, ideally with some international experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics; Master’s degree strongly preferred
· Will have worked extensive carbonate geology and hydrothermal dolomites and will understand how to interpret/perform structural geology, seismic/sequence stratigraphy, and seismic interpretation (2D and 3D)
· Will have extensively worked with 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and be able to perform such tasks
· Will have drilled both development and exploration wells, but mainly worked development/production geology
· Ability to interpret and utilize conventional and borehole image logs (incl. QC of field log data)
