Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent

 

 Seeking an outstanding individual for the position of Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent to lead the Maintenance teams towards improved production, cost and HSEQ performance.  Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this pivotal role takes on accountability for the delivery of maintenance as well as health, safety and environment outcomes in Ore Processing (beneficiation plant), Power Station and Port Maintenance areas.  The role will also have significant input into an Expansion Project Stage 2.

 

The preferred candidate will have significant experience within ore processing/materials handling environment with leadership of a Fixed Plant Maintenance team.  Individuals with an operations background seeking to expand their maintenance exposure through this role will also be considered.  With accountabilities in these functional areas, a demonstrated ability to lead health, safety, production and environmental performance in the business in a complex environment is also expected.  In addition to the leadership of a professional multi-disciplinary team, including engineers and trade technicians, the successful applicant will also be accountable for:

 

·         Ongoing compliance with HSEC standards, including Fatal Risk Control Standards and        Health & Safety Management Standards.

·         Overseeing the continued implementation of fixed plant and electrical maintenance systems and             strategies to maximise productivity.

·         In conjunction with the Ore Processing Superintendent, ensure that the Ore Processing and        Maintenance functions are scheduled in a timely, orderly and cost effective manner whilst               optimising the long-term viability of the ore resource.
